In my experience what is key is to regularly review daily rituals and activity to ensure we are focused on delivering scorecard commitments, whilst playing to strengths and being fully engaged at work. All of that is important, but not at the expense of living a life! Three key questions to consider:

1. Do you live your life on purpose i.e. are you clear on what you want to achieve and what you want to be known for?
2. Do you get the chance to do what you do best everyday?
2. Do you organise your energy or your time?

Are you heading for an energy crisis?

If you do not have a clear purpose and plan in place today you will be part of somebody else's plan and they will be your energy and time thief. If you want to drive your energy and time management then feel free to get in touch. You can call me for inspiration and insights based on my experience of coaching leaders around the world, specifically at Microsoft and beyond. I am an advocate of positive psychology and thereby work with you to understand your issues alongside your strengths so that we can explore creative solutions that are 100% practical to enable your professional and personal success.

Whatever your interests outside of the office we can draw parallel learning for optimal impact. For example, if you are a runner then we can look at how you get fit to go the distance; if you are a cyclist then what lessons can we drawn from the Tour De France; if you love theatre, how can we learn how to put on a great performance night after night. These are just a few analogies that can propel our effectiveness to another level.

I guarantee to increase your productivity and engagement levels through establishing a positive flow to your routines that is simply common sense not nonsense. I will feed you provocative articles to support your learning and fuel your appetite for change and be mindful of reality and what is possible to change. As Peter Drucker said:
Company cultures are like country cultures. Never try to change one. Try, instead, to work with what you've got

Are you a Presidential Leader?

What influences your thinking on leadership? I particularly like the following comment from Anne Scoular: If a coach can't tell you what methodology he uses - what he does and what outcomes you can expect - show him the door!

So, if you want to learn how to hire a good coach and not just any coach then read the article or email me for some top tips.

Do you live your life on purpose?

The Starting Point of Great Companies: According to the author:

"Enduring institutions – those that have stood the test of time – create value for society and base their code of conduct on values.
